With the many advantages to upgrading load-out systems, there are also challenges that should be addressed prior to installation. Technology has helped increase the efficiency, accuracy and safety of load-outs by allowing the drivers to check in, weigh in, get lane verification, and weigh out through an automated kiosk ticketing system. This eliminates manual transaction errors, is user-friendly, and is safer, allowing drivers to get accurate quick results with less labor. The kiosks are installed at drive-up truck height which allows the drivers to stay in their trucks.  It can reduce liability, extend loading hours, improve traffic flow, and increase daily transactions and profits. Did you know over 95% of TRU-Vu Monitors are TAA Compliant?

The Trade Agreements Act (TAA) of 1979 requires the U.S. government to only buy products that are made in the U.S. or in designated countries. A product is considered TAA compliant if it’s manufactured or “substantially transformed” in the U.S. or in a designated country. Substantial transformation can be demonstrated by showing that at least 50% of production took place in a TAA-approved country, or that the changes made were essential to the product’s purpose. The country of origin for a TAA compliant product is determined by the last substantial transformation it undergoes before being exported to the U.S.

If you are working with a Government agency, chances are they will require TAA compliant products. The majority of LCD monitors do not meet TAA requirements as they are mostly manufactured in mainland China. Fortunately, over 95% of TRU-Vu monitors are manufactured in a TAA compliant country.

TRU-Vu offers a wide range of LCD monitor sizes, enclosures, and configurations. We have developed a treatment to reduce shock and vibration called TRU-Tuff.  TRU-Tuff Treatment is a unique treatment to maximize shock and vibration resistance. This process includes:

1. RTV silicone on all critical components and connections

2. All wires are dressed, tie-wrapped and secured

3. ThreadLocker is applied to all screws
